    @andymeijers - I agree that the game would be a lot better without the parents there, but safety is first and foremost. No earrings, no jewelry, no bracelets or necklaces! I have seen quite a few injuries when the referees didn’t enforce the rules. Do you think it hurts any less when a child gets hit in the ear with the ball, just because a piece of tape is protecting the earring?? All of the rules are there for a reason.
