We have Alexa. Abby gets up and walks out when Alexa speaks. In fact, all Bill has to do is say,“Alexa….,” and Abby runs for the door. This morning, I let Abby out around 4:30. I sat on the step to make sure she didn’t start barking. I absently noticed someone’s sprinklers starting up. Then, in a minute or so, I heard a woof. I got up and walked over to look down into the lower part of the yard and saw it was our sprinklers that had started, trapping our hose and sprinkler challenged canine in the side yard. I coaxed to no avail. Finally had to brave the deluge in my jammies to let her out the gate and go around through the safer, dryer front yard. No funny voices, please, and no sprinklers.
