I once went to slide show about expedition climbing in Antarctica. The presenter described the two states of expeditions: “Fun” and “Pre-fun.” He described one point in their trip during a storm as, “a lot of pre-fun.”
You clearly do not know how many gender neutral bathrooms are set up: a) a single bathroom; b) a general sink area and individual stalls. Educate yourself.

There is also data that shows queer teens who do not have accepting environments attempt suicide at higher rates. There is also data that shows trans teens with access to gender neutral bathroom attempt suicide at lower rates.Source: 2023 U.S. National Survey on the Mental Health of LGBTQ Young People
If you genuinely want to make an argument about safety, maybe start with that instead of mythical bathroom attacks.
“Can you point to data that transgender youth are assaulted at a higher rate because of single-gender bathrooms, as opposed to outside of those bathrooms for other reasons?”Yes. Yes I can.
See, when you make stuff up so that YOU can do YOUR social experimenting (conversion therapy, denying others’ sense of self) on others so they conform to YOUR world view it makes you sound kind of like a bigot.
Please point to the data showing this to be an actual problem. Prove to me it is a bigger problem than suicide by queer teens and young adults when they are rejected and marginalized instead of accepted and included.
I agree there is definitely a loss of morality when harmless people – especially teens and young people – who are demonstrably at risk due to the acceptance of bigotry against them are villified for trying to just live their lives safely as members of society.
“Analyses of criminal incident reports have found no evidence that assaults, sex crimes, or voyeurism in public toilets are increased by gender-neutral toilets or SGD inclusive policies 41. Furthermore, trans youth are more likely to be victims of sexual assault than perpetrators 7. Gender-neutral toilets may also be safer for women than gender-segregated toilets, because of higher volumes of users and enhanced natural surveillance [24,42].
