    Yep, did that just last week. Silly me, I thought I’d save time rather than queuing behind 1 person for the real person checkout. By the time I gave up on the self-checkout and switched to that one, there were 6 people ahead of me .

    I went through an all-black sock phase, but the slight differences in style bugged me so much (I’m worse than Ray!), I’ve switched to brightly coloured ones which are easier to pair up.
