Hey do you realize that this Comic Strip would inspire two popular characters who acted on the British Soap Opera Coronation St. The character of Hilda Ogden was based on Flo played by Jean Alexander while Andy himself was based on the character of Stan Ogden played by the late Bernard Youens. The only difference was that Hilda was Small, & Stan was Big.
