Yep, it’s true for here in central FL where I live – Just look @ weather for Orlando — PM thundershowers all week. When I lived in St Pete it really was like the cartoon.
For those wondering – Gators DO on occasion visit the beach! We’ve seen it a few times while at Playalinda Beach, Merritt Island, FL near Kennedy Space Center (KSC) & yes, there are many Gators in the waters around KSC & the launch areas!
Honestly pro athletes & sports commentators just use a generic phrase generator. i.e. ~ “Well, (NAME) is having a really <insert sport’s period noun> & we wish <him/her> & the all the best.” ~ “Well, Lebron is having a really spectacular season & we wish him & the Lakers all the best.” ~ “Well, Gracie is having a really difficult day & we wish her & the Toyota Rev Racing team all the best.”
In the book “Over the Edge: Death in Grand Canyon” – they name it the “Disney World syndrome” – believing someone will be there to rescue you if you break the rules – not believing nature will bite you in the butt when you do stupid things like cross the barriers put up for your protection!
