    Having realized that all people do not feel the same about all things, and that any decision made was as likely to ultimately be wrong as any other, it was decided that a moderated democracy would likely be better than a pure democracy. Similarly, a democratized authority would likely be better than a totalitarian authority.

    The neat part of it all was that you could disagree with the prevailing political ideology and not be executed for it.
