Yes, they work wonders for the entire household. I wouldn’t be without one for my dogs. I often wonder why more poeple don’t have them. It saves having “accidents” and the dogs enjoy the freedom of movement.
If you have a secure yard, they’re great… but if you don’t — and have bigger dogs — you risk the safety of your dogs and your valuables, too. Thieves have been known to get through them.

I’ve tried talking my wife into getting a doggy door for our two dogs, but she’s afraid other critters will come in the house.
