Well, Madonna (the singer) did spend a lot of time naked or nearly naked during her career. I think Big Daddy would appear naked, sooner than he will ever run track!
If one is a … ahem .. truly magnificent man (such as myself, he modestly adds), running while nude can be very … uncomfortable. Some things are better strapped down than swinging around.
Sounds jealous, if she hasn’t figured that out. I had a wife who was jealous of my cat. Wanted the cat to sleep in another room. I told her I could live with that, but I’d be sleeping in the room with the cat. Suddenly, the cat wasn’t a problem anymore and we continued to all sleep in the same room.
With both animals, and Big Daddy (the “big” says it all here) and Mommy, who isn’t exactly what you’d call skinny…. they should invest in a larger bed.
We got a king-size bed many years ago when we got our first Scottie. Never regret it except when it’s time to change the sheets. :-) Little furry family members should sleep with the big two-legged people!
Nature tends to override thermal reactions in favor of mechanical preservation under those circumstances, though the less sensitive members do take a beating…(sorry, couldn’t think of an easy alternative)

Silly question.. The only track big Daddy has ever been on was while he was on a train.
