    It’s still funny, but the thing about telegraphy is that unlike texting, you don’t need to look at the telegraph key. So of they made telegraph texting apps, you could telegraph and drive. Figured I’d better do an app search and there’s at least an app for sending tweets with an on-screen telegraph key.Dit, dah dit, dah dit ….

    my great great granpappy worked in the telegraph office….when he passed away, i was told that at his funeral,the pastor said over him………dot dot dot dash dash dot dash dot dot dot dash dash dash dot…..

    Rubber Ducky: At least leave spaces so we know what you are saying. Laffin Larry sent a period, but then followed it with an ellipsis. I don’t know which is worse, muddy sending or improper punctuation!
