And the gov’ment told the states to cut them all down cause they were a fire hazard.

And to rake up all the leaves.

How do they breathe?

Forget the tree, check out that old-fashioned phone!

I think it started way back when man moved out of caves.

Saved loads of money on toilet paper, but now they just email them to me.

They took all the trees, and put em in a tree museum

And they charged the people a dollar and a half to see them

They paved paradise, and put up a parking lot

And then there’s the junk mail. I still get an amazing amount of that. I know it must be helping to keep the post office in business but it goes straight in the trash.

Trees used for paper are a crop, like wheat or corn. They are replanted after they are harvested. The growing season is longer.

This hits much too close to home.

CVS has a new feature that your receipt can be emailed to you instead. I started using it months ago and haven’t had a paper receipt from them since then. If you’re afraid of getting junk mail then open a Gmail account just for things like that and give them that email address instead.

Good one! I should make streamers out of those receipts and the ones from the supermarkets!

I’m pretty sure if we got near this point, humans would go extinct, and then the planet (including trees) would be able to recover.

I get my cvs receipt emailed to me.

It’s hardly fair to blame CVS. They weren’t the first and they aren’t the worst.
