X-ray vision or glasses never made sense to me. Where are the X-rays coming from. In order to see X-rays there must be a source. If Superman’s eyes are the source, then he could not see anything since X-rays are only reflected by very dense material such as lead. The science of X-rays was well known at the time creators. Good Science Fiction is base upon the known science of the time and extrapolated for unknown like a fast than light drive.
