Pavement is our pillow, without a sheet we’ll lay, underneath the arches, we dream our dreams away.

At least the St. Louis arch doesn’t have an annoying clown.

I remember when it was being built, how I would like to see it someday. I finally did in the late 90’s and I wasn’t disappointed. I would have liked to take the ride to the top, but it wasn’t working that day.

Cleo McDowell (from “Coming to America”) : Look… me and the McDonald’s people got this little misunderstanding. See, they’re McDonald’s… I’m McDowell’s. They got the Golden Arches, mine is the Golden Arcs. They got the Big Mac, I got the Big Mick. We both got two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles and onions, but their buns have sesame seeds. My buns have no seeds.

Hmmm, I’m not totally sure that I get why the St. Louis Arch is…

    SQUIRREL!!!

Dang it!… he got me again! What was I sayin’…

… oh, I’m not sure I get the joke here! But then again, I’m a little under-caffeinated and I haven’t had my gas station burrito and Red Bull yet.

They must be coming from the west, in the 1960s.

MacDonald’s in Santa Barbara is one of several where the ridiculously large arch was not allowed.

One arch is cool and historic. 2 arches is artery clogging and gross…

I’m opposed to arches. You might say I’m their archenemy.

Missouri is my home state, so I’m proud of our arch. I live on the other side of the state, though. I’ve only seen the arch once. Is that the way it always is. It’s like living in South Dakota and never seeing Mount Rushmore.
