Deja vu. Gotta admit that I miss our cat in spite of those toilet paper tantrums

The toilet paper roll here looks like it has been installed in “cat-safety mode”. Although it’s considered the wrong way by most people, putting it on so it dispenses under (or from the back) makes it more difficult for a cat to easily scroll the toilet paper off the roll.

They’re training cats to roll those back up… so there’s hope!

A whole roll once. The bathroom door was kept closed after that.

That’s what cats do.

Go “cat-mode” turn the roll around so it unwinds from the back.

Cats don’t roll upward when they mess with the toilet paper roll. If this cat pulled the paper downward it would just keep rewrapping. The shading under the roll should be removed so that it look like the paper comes down off the front of the roll.
