“It was a solid when it fell there, it’s now a liquid in transit to itsgaseous state.” would have been my answer. As a matter of fact, it HAS been such many times. Too many times……

Freezes at 32°? Is he nuts??? It’s 32° right now at 7:20 in the middle of summer!! oh, wait-a-minute – he’s a man, still stuck in Fahrenheit! Cone into the present, fella! It’s not such a bad place.
