Why should the Cubs even try to win? The fans will keep coming no matter what and it’s a lot easier and cheaper to be a losing team. To lose is to win.

Used to live a block from Wrigley. Spent many an afternoon in the bleachers (4 bucks back then). Never did expect too much from them. I was never disappointed.
