There was a gas station chain in the midwest called Clark’s Super 100. They always had “free” coffee for their customers, and likely never cleaned the pot!
Anyway, the running joke was to go to Clark’s for a fill of gas, and while you were there you could cut off a slice of free coffee…
She is wrong, for a burned coffee pot you pour salt in the pot, add ice and a little bit of water. Hold the pot and shake it around. Burned coffee comes right out!
