If you sit down to eat with your cell phone in your hands, it’s as if you sit without washing your hands.

Aside from the obvious gag, it’s curious that, despite her complaining about the other two, Mom has more vegetables left on her plate than both of them combined. :-)

This is actually more sad then funny…

Text-Mex for dinner.

Unfortunately, this is too true. My husband and I went out to eat last night and a group of 20-somethings were at the next table. All of them were looking at their phones. Suddenly they all laughed and began furiously texting. I couldn’t resist, since I thought maybe they were doing it on purpose to mess with the “old folks”, so I asked if they were. No, they weren’t. One of the girls sent a funny meme in a group text and they were all texting their lol’s to her.

Not just small talk?

My children (both of whom have families) have a no cellphone policy during meals. And meals must be eaten at the table, not in front of a tv.

It’s not her job to supervise her husband’s eating. She isn’t his mommy.

This missed the humor mark with me it was more of a “it makes me more sad than anything”

Way of the world now.

Both adults are left handed.

People are healthier without those things, but I have to admit I spend a lot of time reading comics and playing games on my tablet, lol! And reading books. Love to read!

I’m tempted to call someone and tell them to text me.
