Stuff two or three of them shredded wheat biscuits in your mouth. Keep you from saying something worse.

I really don’t know who thought shredded wheat was a good idea. I have given them many tries, and they are just …bad.

When I was a kid I used to eat shredded wheat with salt. When they came out with Triscuits I felt like they stole my idea.

My wife gets shredded wheat and then before adding milk pounds it with a spoon. I told her, ‘They already shred it for you, isn’t that enough?’ She had the nerve to say, ’don’t judge me!’

You eat them for the fiber, not the taste.

If he doesn’t like it, he can probably find a grocery store with careful directions and get what looks good from the thousands of choices of people kibble.

I like it. Not the most flavorful alone, admittedly, but delicious with fresh fruit — my favorite is those berry combinations (blueberries, strawberries, black berries, red raspberries) you find at the store. A sprinkling of raisins or cut up prunes works well too.

I actually like Shredded Wheat. It was something my aunt/uncle, that I spent a lot of time with, ate. I do add a little sugar. It takes me back.
