I feel their pain. We’re getting offers on our property that’s going to be at the corner of one of the few major highway intersections that within the next five years will be swamped by traffic from massive subdivisions. To move, we have to decide what to do with all the stuff. I’m seriously considering that the vast amount of money they will pay can just be used to buy new stuff and the old can be left for the bulldozers. The fantasy is that, this time, I will be more discrete about buying so much junk. Yeah, right. In the meantime, anyone want to buy a drawer full of parts and pieces, original uses unknown. Or a kitchen drawer full of turnip twadlers, banana ricers and yogurt strainers.
Life is constant decluttering sigh I’m working on putting summer clothes away (except for a few pieces, of course it will be hot if I put them all away!), getting out cold weather pieces. And realizing I do not need 5 pairs of black leggings!
So I’m also putting clothes to drop at an op shop, I have far too many duplicates!

In our house, my stuff is clutter and hers is necessary, even though she hasn’t used it in years.

I like this couple. They get each other in ways most people can’t.

Art imitating life. I stopped buying stuff during Covid. If I don’t need it, I don’t want it. We are too lazy to declutter. So far, so good.
