I’ve put on three pounds over the last two weeks and we got more candy and cookies today.

Funny, those beans didn’t use to be green!

We have some good stuff left here. C’mon over.

That tracks what?

It may not be pumpkin pie or fudge brownies, but green bean casserole has always tasted good to me.

Yesterday I made myself a pumpkin pie/cheesecake hybrid. Half a can of pumpkin, a block of cream cheese, a bunch of sugar, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg, spread into a graham cracker crust, baked at medium temperature until I figured it was long enough. It came out really well.

He’s good…..

YAMS!!! That’s what I forgot yesterday…

With enough bacon and piled on some thick toast and given a clever name, you might have something. Now, red or white wine to pair?

I like green been casserole as long as there is no cheese on it.

My wife makes Green Bean Casserole every Christmas, and it usually is the first to go.

There wasn’t a green bean casserole at our meal, but a nice big bowl of fresh, roasted green beans. Of all the parts of our meal that were left over, not a single green bean was left!
