Reminds me of a 1960s Mad Magazine “Lighter Side Of” by Dave Berg. A middle-aged guy observes a young hippie couple, where the guy greets the girl with, “Hey, how’s my old lady?” After someone explains to Mr. Middle-Aged that it’s a term of endearment, he goes home and greets his wife the same way.
Doesn’t quite go over as well as he expected.
