I always put out eggnog and cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. It helps sustain him throughout the long, cold night. Why eggnog and not a glass of milk? More calories in eggnog.

And back in Red’s day, even the milk was whole. I can’t imagine how many calories were in the eggnog! Or how good it must have tasted!!

Real eggnog is made with cream. 10,000 calories in a glassful, especially when you add the rum or kahlua.

Santa got a Coke(TM) at my house. Those little 6 1/2 oz bottles. He also got homemade chocolate chip cookies and carrots for the reindeer.
I know he came because he left the empty bottle to be returned for a refund and some crumbs on the cookie plate.
