As a kid I actually was a dork — and yes, now I’m a dork on Medicare! — so it only felt right and natural for me to dress like one. For some unfathomable reason, junior high school was a living hell for me, and high school was worse….
Jeez, chill out guys. He looks great. You know that he’s like Calvin and he’ll be back to his casual, disheveled self in no time. It’s good for him to know how to look nice too, or else he’ll end up like kids these days who only know how to wear pajama pants and flip flops.
Ah yes, the worry that you’ll be the only one dressed a certain way on the first day of school. I remember it well! I don’t remember anyone ever noticing my clothes, so I guess I succeeded in blending in.
“What the heck was Red’s mother thinking?” Is what some of you are wondering. I used to wonder that with my own mother with the way she dressed me in my early childhood. Now I know…….she’s marking her territory as a sign to other mothers, this is my kid. Personally, I like seeing Red in his red and blue. I wish I could find a shirt like his red shirt.

Lookin’ good, Red. Don’t listen to everyone else. What do they know? You’re dressed for success.

right you are, Catfeet—Stepford Red,
but i also agree with lightenup—any bets on how long till Red is back to the usual “casual, disheveled self” we all love?Destiny23 over 13 years ago

I know what you mean, Professor. I think that today a lot of the kids just try to out grub one another
