I've always wondered about the apple that fell on Isaac Newton's head. Did he eat it, or throw it away in anger? You always wondered that? Well, sure. It's not like it's displayed in a museum somewhere.
There’s a parallel one about Einstein. As he was riding a tram to the patent office he wondered what the scenery would be if he was instead riding on a beam of light.
Maybe his dog ran away with it, leading to part of his first law:An object in uniform motion tends to stay in uniform motion unless acted upon by a net external force
Sir Isaac never married and never had children. He almost never had any friends, because he was too busy being eccentric and brilliant. He did have contact with scientists in a local club and managed to be invited to a meeting to present his findings. Also, he almost never took a bath. The apple story may be a myth. If it did happen, he probably had an awful headache in the morning.
Sir Isaac Newton was a towering genius. He was also a certifiable fruit basket..If you think in a new way about something that everyone else never notices, or takes for granted, you’re a scientist, or an artist, or a lunatic. The differences are subtle….
