My son’s Gordon Setter, Mairi, used to this every time it snowed…she just loved to “catch” a snowball, but had the funniest look on her face when she couldn’t see what happened to it! LOL ;)
Rusty and Sara are litter mates, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers at the shelter where I volunteer. I took them both out to play in the snow. Sara found a ball in the snow after sniffing and digging. Rusty wanted it, so Sara gave him a chunk of ice instead. He’ll get even with her, in a couple of days.

Bluefire is a beautiful name. If I may ask….Blue Heeler? Blue-tick hound? Or just beautifully named?

I’m trying not to think of what’s steaming on top of the pile.
