    Hey, once in a while we would have salamanders (actually newts) in our pool. They would swim for a while… until the chlorine took them out..No big loss as far as I was concerned!

    I remember looking for crawdads in the creek when I was a kid. One of our many summer activities – before 24 hr TV/cable/internet stuff (you know – prehistoric times).
