    No Red had it right; the show lasted longer re-running the same 3 seasons than it original broadcasts.

    Yep, NBC cancelled the show, the concept made millions! I was about 12 or 13 when I saw my first Star Trek, and how many millions have been made from that franchise? Still enjoy them all, and all the off shoots.
