    Good nose, Rover! My Irish Setter, Katie, can smell another dog a mile away, I swear! We have to stop for the requisite sniff more than we walk! (Well, not quite , but close enough!) ;)

    Yes that is a tall dog; it is too bad that the taller the dog the shorter the life seems to be. Which means more Rover years to come.

    I have seen rescued greyhounds, they were not as tall as a Great Dane, an Irish Wolfhound or an Afghan Hound so yes 14-15 years is good for the greyhounds.

    If you can believe Wikipedia, "on March 16, 2010, Rover revealed that his grandfather, “Merganser McIntire”, was a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and his grandmother, “Codfish Kate”, was part Portuguese Water Dog.".I thought Rover was a Labrador…
