Dear Gabby, My owner says his mom bakes the world's best chocolate chip cookies. I wouldn't know. I can't have any because they contain chocolate. Signed sad and salivating. Dear Droolster, I hear she also bakes yummy oatmeal cookies- a healthy alternative.

Go for the oatmeal cookies, as long as they don’t contain raisins.

She doesn’t bake anything, for she is not allowed to eat sugar, too!!

I love Red sitting there in his stocking feet with his feet up on the desk. Like a real pro! :-)

I’m thinking without Rover’s involvement, Gabby’s column would be a bust!

Mom should set aside a bit of cookie dough before adding the chips.

Get a pen-pal in Britain who can send you Choc-o-bits, or try carob (which might not work because it smells different.

Please, please do NOT give your dog any oatmeal cookies that have raisins, raisins and grapes are very toxic for dogs and could kill them!

Good answer Red. Although, our Charlie Girl dog climbed up on the table while we were at Easter Sunday Mass and ate our sons Chocolate bunnies, and she was fine. I guess it depends on the dog. Would I ever feed my pets, dogs or cats, chocolate, NO. And I have learned over the years to keep things OUT OF REACH, JUST IN CASE!
