Looks exactly like my two pups in the morning…and yes, they do some serious squirrel chasing, and no, they haven’t caught any! The little guys just run up a tree, and laugh!
I saw a program on TV about Mr. Pilates and that his inspiration came to him while watching a cat stretch in his barracks during his imprisonment in an internment camp during WWII.
Albert Payson Terhune, collie breeder/showman and chronicler of their adventures, called that “fore and aft” stretching. I love watching it — that aft stretch goes right to the end of the toes and is followed by a good shake. I feel like I’ve stretched after watching a good one!
