Pool time is over. Time to go on a hiking adventure instead!

Young girls that would play baseball and go horn toad hunting were OK in my book, but there were only a couple of those.

Is this a rerun? We’ve seen the Mintz twins asking to join Red in his wading pool before.

Careful, Rover. Your eyes’ll get stuck like that.

Good point Red, in this case those old wive might know what they are talking about.

Red isn’t much for other humans his age. And cooties are really lice. But imaginary. Though a toy from back then I had was called “Cooties” and sort of resembles wingless moths with an ant head and curled proboscis.

Excuse me Red, I was a young girl who is now an old wife, and I HAVE NEVER HAD cooties, young man!:-D
