Yeah, for now. But after all this time you’ve been using it, I don’t think the ‘my dog ate my homework!’ excuse is going to fly at this point, Red..

More like a lesson in fractions.

Rover halved the assignment.

Looks more like subtraction to me. But now Rover has Red’s undivided attention, as the good times multiply.

Rover makes short work of long division!

I think it was more of a distraction and I’m not sure the teacher is going to buy it.

Ahhhh…the proverbial “Dog ate my homework” equation

Well that solves everything! Now on to fun!

I came to appreciate teaching when my father, who was not an “official teacher”, sat down and in about two minutes explained how to do the long-division homework that had me in tears that no “official teacher” had been able to explain. That was more than 55 years ago and the memory is evergreen.
