My Mom always said that she knew when my (grand)kids had been out to her house, as all the lids were down…

City sidewalk puddle water way worse than toilet water for dogs. Just thought I would throw that out there. BTW, love the stars over Rover’s head. Reminds me of old Looney Tunes cartoons. Da best!

A clean dog is allowed to lick!!

Nice dogs do lick all kinds of things you don’t want to think about.

I lived in a quiet suburban area with steep hills. My cat would go walking with me but couldn’t resist a puddle. She was a veritable connoisseur of puddle water. It was all rainwater or sprinkler runoff, so a harmless hobby.

Seeing all these cartoons about being licked in the face make me cringe… but dogs LOVE to do it! However, I like to hug big dogs, and a lot of them don’t like it. I’ve learned that just about all dogs like being scratched behind the ears, so I’m happy to oblige in lieu of hugging.

Ever wonder why toilet seats in restrooms in bars have the gap in the middle? That’s so the drunks don’t get hit in the head.
