Had a cat, Alistair, who loved to walk on the side of the bathtub. He fell into a filled bath once and ricocheted out so fast, he was totally dry. It did not break him of the habit.
When I was a kid we loved playing in the sprinkler. It was the next best thing to having a swimming pool. And the idea was to get wet especially on a hot day.

It is more of a “game” with a sprinkler the moves back and forth or one that “spins” around.
or better yet a hose with a nozzle held by someone who aims.
