Oh Red I feel for you as my mother did the same to me….I’d tell her many times how about my sister doing something for a change. My mother would say she makes a mess of it all. Yeah on purpose so she didn’t have to do anything.

The commercials are the best part, especially the ones showing new toys!

When I was a wee tyke,if I replied to my mother like red did here I wouldn’t be sitting at that table once it was set! Times have sure changed…….

Don’t worry, Red, you’ll see that commercial many times more and you will NOT get the toy on offer.

Back when I was a kid, my mom told me to take out the trash. I asked, “Next commercial?” and she said “Okay.” Half an hour later she realized that I was watching PBS which had no commercials.

I grew up loving commercials.

I had a GF many years ago, that turned off a movie I liked, when she found out that I had seen it several times in the past. I was beyond irritated.
