…I see people going by saying “How do you do?” They are really saying “I love you”…and I think to myself, what a wonderful world!!

Well, Red, that life will never get you to Mars, so think again.

If Red ever did live Rover’s life for a while, he would soon find that boring, too.

It’s not easy being Rover!

Red, it can be yours once you retire! But I’ll bet you won’t WANT to be that idle.

Retired, still busy, but doing stuff I want to do.

Careful for what you wish for! In a flash you could find yourself in senior living watching cars from a window. Life is not a dress rehearsal. Get some MOXIE!

I try not to be critical of comic art not necessarily depicting real life. However, in panel one, I am surprised to see Rover walking with a camel gait?

Sound like my life – but add in the 3 meals a day.

be careful what you ask for. compare the dog’s life with being able to go to school, learn interesting facts and interact with other students all day. I think you’d change your tune if you got, say, Covid, and hand to stay home by yourself for an extended time.

Just wait 55 +/- years and you will have that life.
