When my St. Bernard used to offer his slobbery rawhide bone, I always took it and pretended to chew it accompanied with appropriate exclamations of yum and mmm and then handed it back to him. I don’t know if he believed the performance, but he seemed to enjoy the show. LOL!! ;-)

Looks like a knotted piece of rawhide. NO!!!! Do not give those things to your dog, they are bad for them.

Rover could be saying “thank you for the bone” or “more of these, please.” An offer to share is likely to end up in your lap. Or face. Of course, Rover would be happy to share anything with his best friend.
