    When my St. Bernard used to offer his slobbery rawhide bone, I always took it and pretended to chew it accompanied with appropriate exclamations of yum and mmm and then handed it back to him. I don’t know if he believed the performance, but he seemed to enjoy the show. LOL!! ;-)
