While in my 40’s, I use to challenge my 5th graders to a 50 yard dash each and every spring. I told them I would race the fastest one in the class. I always won. They never caught on.

That’s my yellow Lab recently. We take our usual walk and when we get to the halfway point he stops and waits for me to walk to the end of the road and turn around.

Seems like a wash. You lose the first race.
