It’s amazing how dogs know it’s dinner time. My Rugby nailed it all the time. BTW, when they don’t, pay attention, they might be sick. Enjoy the day

Rover’s gut isn’t just trustworthy, it’s hungry, too!

I have a Turtle and she only gets fed every other day in the evening. I have a reminder on my calendar on the phone but it’s kind of a waste since she is always at the glass flailing her legs reminding me at five on the button. :-)

After we change clocks this weekend, Rover will be pleased to get his dinner an hour early. But, in November, when we “fall back” the clocks, he will be understandably annoyed.

When I have my therapy dog in the hospital we are usually there past 5p, which is her dinner time. I can tell exactly when it’s 5p by her behavior. I used to take along her food, but she has learned that hospital time isn’t the same as at home time, up to maybe one hour.

For my dog, nothing interrupts a walk. It may be because breakfast for her comes after a walk, whatever time we get back. If we are walking later in the day past her mealtime, she doesn’t complain as she loves her walks and knows she will be fed as soon as we get home.

I’m surprised. No one mentioned Snoopy presenting his dinner dish to Charlie Brown, often a little earlier than dinner time.
