Milk Bones are bland crackers, but I never has any desire to try kibble.

I like the panel where Red imagines his eye balls have fallen out. He also seems to imagine that his eyes sockets have completely disappeared.

my son ‘peeled’ caterpillars, then ate them, my other son ate dog kibble; they all grew and did extremely well.

You know, I’ve always wondered about when they label cat or dog food “Improved Taste”… I mean, how do they KNOW?

One of my nieces and her friends answered the question we’ve all wondered. They dared each other to try bacon-flavored dog treats. She told me it tasted very much like bacon… for about a second. Then the good flavor disappeared and it tasted like rancid cardboard.

But if you’ve ever seen a dog woof down a treat, you know that any flavor after the first half second is a waste.

That’s why I cook my Lizzie’s food at home, including relevant supplements. Keeps it organic and free of harmful preservatives. Since I’m retired, I have enough time each day!

I sometimes put broth or gravy on Newton’s kibble, and often add some veggies. He eats those meals as quickly (even with a slow-feed bowl) as the plain kibble meals, so I’m not sure he even tastes the extras!

Red, Rover likes a lot of tastes and scents you probably don’t.

Trader Joe’s has peanut butter banana dog treats. They’re made with chickpeas, too. When I open the treats jar, they definitely smell like bananas! I haven’t tried one, but my 5 year old son occasionally asks for one ☺️

LOL… over processed baked brown nuggets of questionable ingredients. I would be go for real food, too.
