Always good to right size yourself

This is why I really, really get upset when people ignore or harm their dogs. We are their whole worlds and they deserve to be treated well.

But Red, you’re such an important part of this universe . . and, further, I really like you! A whole lot of us readers do!

Today’s strip explains my overwhelming love for my little darlings, Red and Rover! (Brushing back a tear;)

Well, I can’t say my late dog was my “whole” universe but he sure took up a huge chunk of it!

I miss my dog every single day and I will for the rest of my life.

The good thing is that Red and Rover can live on in a comic strip. Know all too well the sadness of losing a loved pet and hope I never see it here.
