Skip the balloons, and double up on the cake!

Skip the balloons- they and the ribbons are dangerous to wildlife. If you must use them, dispose of them according to your community guidelines.

But they let you eat it too!

I don’t get it. You could have had a balloon. Maybe it’s going to Pascal.

Should have brought Rover a slice ;-)

Reminds me of a wedding reception we went to years ago. They had a beautiful ham sitting as a centerpiece. They never sliced it. Just got little mini sandwiches. We had to go get something to eat afterwards. What a low budget wedding.

please do NOT release balloons – they’re an environmental nightmare – especially mylar ones

On a second look, I can see that Rover was expecting a piece of cake. His legs look a little stiff. Red seems disappointed too that he couldn’t bring it for him. I get the same look when I am at someone else’s house for dinner, and I don’t return with leftovers I can share with my dog. A beagle can smell everything. People she sees in the hospital will ask me sometimes if I think my dog can smell their dog on them. “My dog can smell everywhere you have been for the last six months.” I love the looks I get after I say that! Some people look so guilty, confused, or pleased.

Ugh, PLEASE do not release balloons!
