Again, I love the vintage details of this strip.

That vase was doomed, save for Mom! But it was clever to use the books!

Rain days meant basement day in our neighborhood. Our moms didn’t give a hoot what we did down there and we did! Lol

That’s one way to deal with a rain delay!

Those ears in panel 3 …! Hahaha!

I like Red’s look at the reader in panel 3. That’s the look I get when I wash car and it rains or snows.

Just remove the vase from the equation.

How does the ball get from book one to book two, or is that Rover’s job to add a paw to redirect the ball to the right?
