Grab the snack and go to the bathroom first!

Lay in a good stock of provisions, you could be there for a while.

Red, poor little guy. I can remember some confusing moments as a young boy. Rover will get him through this moment. Dogs are awesome in sensing something is wrong!

Rover needs a snack, too!

That’s the cleanest furnace room on the planet.

Awe. What’s got Red so bummed out?

OH, Red, you are soooo brave.

As a child the furnace made noises that were scary so when I had to go down to grab some canned foods

I raced back upstairs.

Go with the snack first…..

Oh, Red…they won’t let you be missing for very long

both great ideas!

Priorities.

He could try falling down a well and seeing if Rover will rescue him.

Back then nobody looked for anybody until supper.

Your second half is the best idea ….. and don’t forget Rover’s treats ….. :)

LOL… Rover came looking. End of test.

Basements in old houses are best. They’re full of odd crannies, piles of boxes, pillars and if you’re lucky a coal bin. You can get totally filthy without going outside.
