His parents didn’t name him Red?

Red knows he’s in trouble when he gets called by his full name. I know I did, especially when my mother used both my full first and middle names. Then I knew I’d crossed the line and a whooping was coming.

Oh no, parent yelling out your full name. We all have been there, ha. Russ the Red, could have been a Viking. Lol

If my mom got frustrated with me and my siblings, she’d trip over our names (there were four of us) before she landed on the right one—it always cracked us up.

Only when one is acting up does the parent use full names! Hilarious! We hardly ever see Red’s true name. I almost thought it was a different comic strip at first, lol!
