Not ours. He would stand on her leg and look out the window. Only problem was when he saw horses or cows. To him they were other dogs & the barking would commence!
So cute how Rover’s one eye opens when he wakes up! Newton doesn’t get as excited as Rover but he does enjoy car rides as long as he can stick the tip of his nose out the open window, even in winter!
With our dogs, all we had to do was drop the tail gate. 30 seconds later all 5 of them would be in the back of the truck and ready for a run out to the hills. Once out in the hills they would take off. An hour or so later they would start coming back. Bringing the cattle with them. Thing is, it was open range, and the cattle were not ours. All of them were border collies. Herding instinct in them was strong. None were formally trained.

I had a stepdaughter who was the same way, out like a light before I made it to the end of our street. Tru story!

Rover was sleeping and then got excited at being invited to come in the car with Mom and Red. His excitement soon wore off. He must have been sleepy.

He’s pooped from the zoomies! Rugby had an enormous bed in the third seat row area in the Tahoe. It’s still known as “ Rugby’s lair “!

It’s not the ride Rover wants, it’s the company.
