Ruby must be a real gem.

I thought that her name would go well with Red but I was expecting Rose rather than Ruby.

Those of you who read Andy Capp will know that Andy and Flo’s neighbours are Chalkie White and his wife Ruby. I once commented that it would have been more appropriate for Ruby to be called Pearl.

Red is totally transparent! Hah!

Somehow, I expected Minnie from “Ginger Meggs.”

Does Ruby have a friend for Rover?

if the girl and Red are both gingers it would be a preordained match.

Ruby is still a popular name. Just looked it up because I currently don’t know any younger girls named Ruby.
