    Although hyenas are more closely related to cats (being in the Suborder Feliformia), they are still related to dogs – being mammals in the Class Mammalia, and being in the Order Carnivora.

    Yep, some day Rover will be hampered by doggy rheumatism and bad back. Then, maybe, Red will be able to out run him. That will be several years in the future, though.
