I looked at it a couple of times and think Red made the temperature just right. Then Rover jumped in and warm dog made the water too warm so the ice cubes to cool it back down a bit.
Grew up with an above ground pool that only got direct sunlight in the morning hours as it was surrounded by trees. The temperature rarely got above 68 degrees f. That first plunge always gave me goosebumps

I remember Mom putting hot water in our inflatable pool more than a couple of times. She must have really loved us because that was a lot of work. ;-)

I did that once when I was in the sixth grade. I was snitched on and of course my mom called me-no more hot water. Or I WOULD be in hot water!

Adjusting the pool temperature is tricky. The Sun usually keeps it warm enough. In fact these last few days, adding ice cubes sounds like a cool idea.
